I measure how visitors use this site. Below is exactly what I store for that, when it happens and how long it stays.

As long as you choose nothing in the cookie notice, I measure without cookies. Nothing goes onto your device and I cannot recognise you. That way of measuring needs no consent, so I do it straight away. Otherwise I am left with a hole in my numbers.
Click "Essential only" and it stays exactly like that. Only your choice itself is remembered.
Click "Accept" and I set a cookie, recognise you on a next visit, and record your visit as a screen recording.
The statistics run on PostHog. Without consent PostHog sits in cookieless mode and keeps everything in the page memory only. Close the tab and it is gone.
I can see that a page was visited, but not that it was you, and not that you were here yesterday too.
PostHog then sets a cookie on your device and puts the same data in your browser storage as well. That makes you the same visitor on a next visit and shows me whether someone comes back.
The screen recording starts as well. PostHog captures what happens on your screen: which pages you open, where you scroll and where you click.
Input fields are masked while it does. What you type does not end up in the recording.
There are no advertising cookies on this site and I share nothing with ad networks.

In that second name, <token> stands for this site’s project number at PostHog. That number is simply in the page source.
Per visit I record which page you open, when you leave it again, how fast it loaded, where you click and scroll, and where you came from.
If you click call, mail or WhatsApp, I count that separately. That tells me which pages actually bring in jobs.
Every measurement also notes which language you are reading the site in and which cookie choice you had at that moment.
For this site PostHog runs on servers in the European Union.
The measurement traffic first passes an address on this domain (/ph) and goes on to PostHog from there. That saves measurements from being blocked by adblockers, and it means your browser is not talking to another domain directly.
