The bath stayed in place. The wall behind it was stripped back to the blue backer board.
White tiles went on top of that. The walls next to it have a dark mosaic band, which stayed.
The bath was taped off and covered with cardboard for as long as the work lasted. You can still see the blue clips on the tiles. These photos were taken while the tiling was going on.
